The mechanics of the show differ from other talent shows. Here, our four judges – Iza, Lulu Santos, Michel Teló, and Gaby Amarantos, with the program hosted by the charismatic Thiago Leifert – have their backs to the contestant during the initial performance. If the participant's singing touches the heart of any judge, they can turn their chair around and finally see the contestant.
The journey on The Voice Brasil unfolds through different stages, where competitors face challenges on their way to the final or are eliminated along the way:
- Blind auditions: The judges, with their backs to the stage, turn their chairs around if the contestant's voice impresses them. The selected contestants have the freedom to choose their mentor from among the judges, thus forming four teams, each with 12 talents.
- Battles: Here, there are duels between two contestants from different teams, performing the same song. The judges have the final say on who advances and who leaves the competition. In some situations, a judge can "save" a contestant eliminated by another, if there is a spot available on their team.
- Semifinal: In this phase, the best talents perform solo, and viewers have the power to eliminate candidates through online voting.
- Grand finale: The show culminates in a battle between the survivors, where the winner is determined by audience votes.
Who is qualified to enter The Voice Brasil?
If you are over 16 years old and believe in your vocal talent, you are eligible to participate. Simply submit a 5-minute video demonstrating your vocal skills. After registering, stay tuned for feedback from the production team.
What is the reward for the winner of the program?
