Are you also not up to date with this information? Then know that here you will find three benefits potentially available to you.

The Federal Government constantly introduces new assistance programs aimed especially at families living in poverty or extreme poverty.

These benefits represent a way for the government to help these families achieve a dignified life and reduce poverty.

There are numerous benefits available, but in this article we will explain three of them in detail: Bolsa Família, Vale Gás and Desconto na Conta de Luz. Keep reading for more comprehensive information about each of these programs.

Learn more about these three social programs

The Federal Government is offering several aid programs to the population of Brazil. Among them are Bolsa Família, Vale Gás and Tarifa Social, all benefiting thousands of Brazilians.

Among these benefits, the Social Tariff is the one that reaches the largest number of people, providing a reduction in the value of the electricity bill.

Recently, on March 2, President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva sanctioned a Provisional Measure (MP) that determines the implementation of Bolsa Família 2023, replacing the Auxílio Brasil program.

It is estimated that around 700,000 new families will be welcomed into this programme, with the right to a basic payment of R$ 600 and additional benefits from 20 March.

See below the number of Brazilians watched by each of these programs:

Bolsa Família: 21.9 million people assisted.

Vale Gás: 5.95 million people assisted.

Social Tariff: 24 million people assisted.

Is it possible to receive all three benefits at the same time?

This is a question that raises doubts among Brazilian citizens seeking assistance from the Federal Government. Fortunately, it is possible to receive the three social programs mentioned simultaneously. This is because they all use the Single Registry as a selection criterion.

Therefore, to qualify, you simply need to meet the established requirements, register for each of the social programs and start receiving them.

It is important to note that each program has specific eligibility criteria and it is necessary to meet the requirements of each one.

This way, it is possible to access the benefits offered by these programs and obtain the necessary support from the Federal Government.

Family Grant 2023

Bolsa Família was implemented as a replacement for the former Auxílio Brasil program and has benefited countless Brazilian families, providing a dignified life for each of them.

To receive the monthly amount provided by the government, you must meet certain requirements. See below:

The first requirement is that the family is registered in the Single Registry (CadÚnico) and keeps its information updated on the platform.

For families in situations of extreme poverty, the monthly per capita income must not exceed R$105, even if there are no pregnant women, children or young people in the family structure.

In the case of families living in poverty, the monthly per capita income must be between R$ 105.01 and R$ 210, and there must be pregnant women, breastfeeding women, children, adolescents and young people under the age of 21 in the family structure.

By meeting these requirements, families will be able to receive assistance from Bolsa Família, providing important financial support for basic needs and contributing to improving their living conditions.

Gas Valley

Vale Gás is a government benefit designed to help Brazilian families financially in purchasing cooking gas. To be eligible for this program, you must meet certain requirements, such as:

Have a monthly per capita family income equal to or less than half the country's minimum wage.

Be registered in the Single Registry (CadÚnico).

Have at least one family member receiving the Continuous Benefit Payment (BPC).

It is important to highlight that the government prioritizes families in which there are women who have suffered domestic violence and who are under protection by protective measures.

By meeting these criteria, families can receive assistance from Vale Gás, which provides financial relief on the cost of cooking gas and contributes to the well-being of the beneficiary families.

Social Tariff (Discount on electricity bill)

Do you want to reduce the cost of your electricity bill every month? The Social Tariff makes this possible. However, not all families have access to this privilege.

To benefit from this discount on your energy bill through the program, you must meet certain requirements imposed by the government.

Here are the families that can benefit from the Social Tariff:

Families registered in the Single Registry with per capita income equal to or less than half the minimum wage (R$ 651).

People aged 65 or over, or individuals with disabilities who are beneficiaries of the Continuous Social Assistance Benefit (BPC).

Families registered in the Single Registry with a monthly income of up to 3 minimum wages (R$ 3,636), who have someone with an illness or disability (physical, motor, auditory, visual, intellectual and multiple) who requires the constant use of devices, equipment or instruments that consume electrical energy for treatment, medical or therapeutic procedures.

Indigenous and quilombola families registered in the Single Registry, as long as they meet the determined income criteria.

By meeting these criteria, families can enjoy the benefit of the Social Tariff, reducing electricity costs and contributing to the financial sustainability of the household.

Muitos brasileiros ainda desconhecem os diversos benefícios que têm direito por parte do Governo Federal.
